In addition to private tutoring, MJ Test Prep also offers group classes for the SAT, ACT, and the SAT Subject classes in various subjects. Ambitious students who are motivated by or enjoy working with peers will especially thrive in these classes. Students will work in small groups, with a ratio of three to four students per one tutor.
If you’re not sure which test your child should prep for, we offer diagnostic practice tests. We encourage you to come to our office and take two full-length practice tests: SAT and ACT. After both tests are completed, we will compare the scores and offer feedback. Please contact us to schedule a practice test. Each test costs $20. After the initial diagnostic tests, we only offer tests in the office for students who are in session with a tutor.
Please check for more information on MJ Test Prep’s group classes.
MJ TEST PREP WINTER BOOT CAMP
This intensive course is held over the winter break between Christmas and New Year’s Day. Students are taught concepts and strategies in a fun and festive environment. MJ Test Prep’s winter boot camp is designed for both students just starting their standardized test preparation and for students who are already prepping and looking for additional practice and new challenges. Students can attend the entire course or just a few days, whatever fits their schedule. Each day starts with a section of the test, either SAT or ACT, depending on the course they choose. Then, students are split into smaller groups of three to four students per one tutor to work on concepts and strategies. No additional homework is required for the winter boot camp; all the work is done in class with their peers and guidance from a tutor.
Please check back for dates and fees.

MJ TEST PREP SAT SUBJECT TEST CLASSES: BIOLOGY, CHEMISTRY, MATH LEVEL 2, & PHYSICS

Starting the spring, MJ Test Prep will offer intensive courses for the following tests: biology, chemistry, math level 2, and physics. These small-group classes will prepare and challenge students by offering concepts that most schools don’t teach during the academic year, but appear on the test.
Dates and fees to be announced soon. More information about each class can be found on our SAT Subject Test Class page.
