Practice tests:
Practice tests can be scheduled in both the Bryn Mawr and Chestnut Hill location. For Bryn Mawr, students can schedule on Saturdays at 10 AM or 2 PM, Sundays after 3 PM or Monday through Thursday between the hours of 11 AM to 5 PM. In Chestnut Hill, students can come on Thursdays after school between the hours of 3 PM to 5 PM. Please give us a call to book a test and allot approximately 3 hours for each test. Students should bring their own calculator and pencils.

The cost for a timed test is $20. We also offer full, simulated SAT and ACT testing in a group environment two weeks before every official test administration for $45. These sessions include a detailed diagnostic score report.

After the initial diagnostic tests, we only offer practice tests in our office for students currently booked in sessions with a tutor.

Why are the rates different?
Prices vary for different tutors based on several factors, including years of experience, degree of specialization, and supply and demand. All of our tutors are experts in their fields, can answer any question on the test, and can help you improve your score. But Dr. Joseph, for example, can provide insight into the test and admissions process based on his 25 years of experience that a younger tutor may not be able to. If you have a general question, though, that your tutor cannot answer, we will utilize every resource at our disposal to help you.

Your choice of tutor should be based primarily on finding someone you work well with. A good personality match can help establish the right atmosphere of collaboration, support, and motivation. You should also consider schedule (not every tutor is available at every time) and budget. If at any time you feel that you would like to switch tutors for any reason, we’ll be happy to work with you to find a better fit.
